This Privacy Policy explains how Inside the Manège (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website and join our mailing list ahead of launch.

This policy currently covers our pre-launch “coming soon” page only. It will be updated and expanded once the full platform, including member accounts and video content, goes live.

1. Who We Are 

Inside the Manège is the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this website. We are  [confirm legal entity name / registration status — currently informal, US-based]. 

Although our business is based in the United States, we offer our upcoming service to, and are directing our  marketing toward, individuals located in the European Union (including France, Germany, Portugal, Belgium,  Denmark, and Austria). 2. What Data We Collect 

At this stage, our website collects only the following: 

  • Email address — when you voluntarily submit it through our mailing list sign-up form. 
  • Basic technical data — [to confirm: analytics/cookies not yet finalised] such as IP address, browser type,  and device information, only if analytics tools are enabled (see Section 6, Cookies). 

We do not currently collect payment information, account credentials, or any video/course activity data, as these  features are not yet live. 

3. How We Use Your Data 

We use the email address you provide solely to: 

  • Notify you when Inside the Manège launches. 
  • Send occasional pre-launch updates about the platform, provided you opted in to receive them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. 

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR) 

For visitors in the European Union, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR: 

  • Consent — for sending you launch updates via email, based on your affirmative opt-in at sign-up. 
  • Legitimate interest — for basic technical/security data needed to operate the website safely, where  applicable.

5. Data Storage and Processors

Where any data processor is located outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure an appropriate safeguard  is in place (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) before your data is transferred. 

6. Cookies

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list, or until launch  communications are complete, whichever is [confirm intended retention approach]. You may request deletion of  your data at any time (see Section 8).

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to: 

  • Access the personal data we hold about you. 
  • Correct inaccurate data. 
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”). 
  • Withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from emails via the link provided in every email.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16  years of age.

Our coming-soon page may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices  of any third-party sites or services.

As Inside the Manège moves from this pre-launch stage into a full platform with member accounts, video content,  and payment processing, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes. We encourage you to review  this page periodically.
